Direct Access Editor's Review
Sometimes working with too many applications drives you mad. If you feel that you cannot control anymore the situation just install Direct Access. This utility can save your time while you are working. Just choose the most important applications and some meaningful words and you won't be bothered anymore by using the mouse to start them.Direct Access is actually a manager where you can enter a link to any application you want. By typing a word as a key, the application can be started without taking your hands off the keyboard.
Besides accessing applications, it can do the same thing for Microsoft Office applications, important folders and autotext.
The important thing is that you can easily introduce any applications you want to start besides the ones already implemented in the manager. You just have to choose what action you want, choose the path of the application and the link will be created in the manager.
There is no problem if you are typing a text and by any chance you type a keyword. After typing the word you will get a popup which can be activated by pressing the F1 key. If you don't want to activate it you can easily continue your writing.
Pluses: can edit your own links;
Drawbacks / flaws:
In conclusion: A very practical utility which eliminates the use of mouse for starting applications.
